Besides, it's a good occasion to visit Alice and also travel around the West forest. I should go a pack my luggage." Ecila happily packed her luggage, she looking forward to this trip. "It will be a fun trip." - Ecila thought. ... A few days later she started her journey to the [[West forest-> West forest 1]] to meet her friend.

*"Dear Alice, Glad to hear that you still doing fine. I will definitely go there and see if I can help you with anything. See you soon. Your best friend, Ecila."* "I think it's gonna be alright, I can take care of both of the trees, every single tree is important." - Ecila confidently said. "I should pack my luggage. The sooner the better." - Ecila then starts to pack her luggage and get ready for the trip. ... A few days later she started her journey to the West forest to help her friend's tree in the [[West forest -> West forest 2]].

There are no trees left on this planet, all animals are gone, and even the Seelie. The planet is now too extreme for any creature to live. History said that after living a long time on a planet full of trees, Seelies start to forget the reason why they have to grow trees. In the beginning, some still do because they were told to do that, but then all of the Seelies start to forget about growing trees. This starts erosion, global warming, and many things else. But when the Seelies realize the changes, it was too late for them to fix it. Is it the future that we all want? [[If somehow we can travel back in time... -> In room 1]]

I will just say to Mom that I lost the seed. Missing one of the trees will not affect anything in the [[future-> Bad ending]]." - Ecila decided headlong.

"Maybe I should take a look inside the letter to see who is the receiver." - Ecila said while quickly opening the letter. The first thing she sees when opens the letter is "Dear Ecila," "Oh, it was my letter, what a surprise... Oh woah, the rain is heavier. Ahhhh don't be like that I'm still outside." - Ecila quickly runs into her house while holding tight the letter and trying her best not to let it get wet. ... Ecila get inside her house, and her shirt was completely soaked with water. After changing into another shirt, she sat down on her bed: "Let's take a look at the letter". She opens the [[letter->Wet letter 1]] and reads it.

You live in a forest that doesn't have any of these natural disasters, and also, growing a tree takes a long time so you may not ever have a chance to actually witness the changes it brings to the entire forest. And even if you have a chance, you may still feel that you only do a little thing, so if you not doing it, the environment still maintain. It's normal to have that thought Ecila. But now, you have a chance to witness the future, the real future if that thing still happens. The East forest is still in a good situation, you still can prevent this future from happening..." - Alice stops for a second. "So will you give me a hand and protect these precious trees?" "Of course, I will, not only your tree but the others too." - Ecila said. "That would be great. Should we start right now?" They both then get to work. The future is still unknown, but Ecila believes, with this experience, she can help out the East forest. ... Little action is the hardest action. We all might have a time when we think, these little actions does it do anything to help the environment, but since it is too small so we can not see the result. Some may still choose to do it without understanding its meaning. Some even reject doing it because they think it is annoying. But if you put it in another way, if everyone doing it together, with small action but the effect is huge, it can even change the world. [[Credits]]

Years later, Ecila grows up and has a little daughter. One day, her daughter ask her: "Mom, why do we have to grow a tree?" "Because it is important my dear." "But why it is important though?" "The mission is important to the planet. It helps preserve the biodiversity on this planet. If we all don't grow our tree, all the trees gonna disappear, the biodiversity and environment our ancestors have been created and protected will also disappear." "But what you said may just be your assumption right, everything is still fine right now." Ecila was stunned for a second. Why it is important though? All of her life she just growing her tree without knowing the actual meaning of it. She has tried her best to understand it but sadly, even though in her mind she knows that it is important but deep down inside her heart, she still has this question: What is the real [[meaning of this mission-> Thinking 2]]?

In her bedroom, Ecila is sitting on her bed. Thinking about what her mother just talk to her. This is the first time she was told about the consequences if she not doing the mission. [["But still,..." -> Selfish]] [["Maybe I was too selfish... -> Realize]]

She started it just because she don't want to be grumbled by her mother. She has never thought about others Seelies... She has never thought about her forest... I don't even care about it in the first place" - She talk to herself. "I should [[go home ->Go back home 4]] know, I guess."

"Oh, I should check the letter I saw yesterday." - She walk towards the mailbox But badly, the letter is all soaked. Somehow the mailbox have some leaks and the rain was too heavy, it makes the letter soak into a pool of water. All the text is now blurry and Ecila can not read a single word. "I hope it's not an important letter. If it is important and something bad happens in the [[future -> Fine Ending 1]]... Nahhh it can not be that bad though." - Ecila tries her best to convince herself. "I should get back to work and head home early, my favorite comic book has been released, I can't wait anymore to read it." - Ecila says with a happy voice and completely forget about the letter.

And also if you don't do your mission, what are you planning to do in the future?" "I know, I know. You always say it is important but I don't see it, like if missing one tree is alright, right? There are still plenty of trees out there and everyone is still doing their mission, so if I'm not growing my tree there are still no changes, missing one tree can not affect that much right? I don't want to stick with a lame tree, I want to choose my path." Her mother sighs heavily and [[say-> Decision ]]:

Ecila stares at the letter, thinking who is the receiver. The [[rain-> Raining outside]] is starting to get heavier.

Hope you can overcome your hard time soon, and hope we can meet each other sometimes. Your friend, Ecila."* Ecila decided not to accept the ask from Alice, she's been too busy with her tree. Taking care of it every single day is enough for her already, she doesn't want to carry any responsible anymore. After finishing her letter, she sealed it and go meet Mr. Owl, the mailman to send the letter to Alice. It's a little bit sad they can not manage to meet each other this time but she hopes in the [[future -> Fine Ending 1]] she can have a chance to meet with Alice again.

She can just let it there if she is too busy. It's fine if she not growing her tree since it's just one tree..." "Hmmm... Should I visit her or not..." After taking a short time to think about whether should she go or not she decided to continue writing her letter. "Hmmm..." - Ecila stops for a second. "She said that she is in some emergencies. Maybe that's the reason why she can not take care of her tree. But what about my tree though, if I spend too much time taking care of her tree then what if something happens to my tree, my tree is also important..." "Hmmm... Should I visit her or not..." After taking a short time to think about whether should she go or not she decided to continue writing her letter. Ecila arrives in the West forest after a few days. It is not the first time she has been here, but this time, she doesn't know why something feels not right about this forest. The weather is hotter, fewer animals are living around and especially even some places don't even have any trees, it's just a blank space. For Ecila this is the first time she witnessed something like this. She wondered: "What caused this thing to happen though? Why the weather has changed so much since the last time I came here?" With all of the questions in mind, she continues her journey to visit Alice. ... When she arrives at Alice's house, she saw her friend was busy with something in the garden. She silently come over and sees that Alice was taking care of lots of trees. "Woah why do you have so many trees?" "Ecila, long time no see. Wait a minute, I'm busy with something." Ecila standing there, waiting for Alice done with her job. "Okay, I'm done now. How was your trip?" "Oh it's good, but can I ask why the environment in the West forest has changed so much?" "I told you in the letter, you don't remember?" "Some part of the letter was soaked with water so I can not read it." "Oh, I see. So let me tell you about the [[situation->Situation 1]] in the West forest."

Ecila arrives in the West forest after a few days. It is not the first time she has been here, but this time, she doesn't now why something feels not right about this forest. When she arrives at Alice's house, she saw she was busying with something in the garden. She silently come over and sees that Alice was taking care of lots of trees. "Woah, why do you have so many trees?" "Ecila, long time no see. Wait a minute, I'm busy with something." Ecila standing there, waiting for Alice done with her job. "Okay, I'm done now. How was your trip?" "Oh it's good, but can I ask how long this situation happened in the West forest? I remember the last time I come here, it doesn't look like this at all." "This is a long story, let me tell you [[more detail->Situation 2]] about the situation of the West forest. This situation is why I ask for your help."

If Alice said it is an emergency then I should go there at soon as possible." - Ecila said in a worried voice. ... "Fine." - Ecila said while quickly grabbing her seed. She knows that she interfere with their work but it was just a few seconds, can they just say it more gently? "Uhhh such a bad day. I shouldn't have come to this place in the first place." - Ecila headed [[home->Go back home 2]] in such a bad mood.

She waters it every single day in the morning but does not give serious care about the tree. ... One day, when she woke up and see the sky is raining heavily. Ecila angrily walks to her home. When she arrived she see her mother was doing something in the garden. [["Uhh I don't want to see anything related to gardening right now."-> Bedroom]] [["I should tell mom what just happened today at the Magical tree." -> Talk to mom]]

Every morning, Ecila will come to the garden, water her tree and take a look at it if there is any problem happening to the tree. She treated the tree not because it is her duty but because she thinks this tree will help this planet in some way in the future. She still keeps thinking about what her mother said to her about the importance of the mission to the planet. She understands it theoretically but still can not link it with the present that she is living. One day, while she was watering her tree, she saw Mr. Owl - the mailman of the East Forest come to her house. "Ecila, you have a letter.'' - Said Mr. Owl. "Thanks, Mr. Owl, have a nice day." She looks at the letter. It is from her precious friend Alice, who lives in the West forest. It's been a long time since they last met each other While Ecila still looking at the letter, she heard her mother call her from far away: "Ecila, it looks like it started to [[rain->Raining outside 2]], hurry up and get inside."

Arriving home, Ecila sees her mother in the garden doing something. Her mother talks to her: "Welcome home. Have you received your seed?" "Oh, they have closed when I arrived so I can not receive my seed." "What! So what do we do now?" - Her mother asks nervously. "It's alright, I don't care about that tree and don't have any intention to grow it either. I feel more free when I don't have it." "But..." "Missing one of the trees is fine, nothing will happen, don't worry Mom. Now, I can do anything I want without worrying about any tree." - Ecila happily said while walking inside the house. After a certain age, each Seelie will receive its seed to grow, and so is Ecila. Tomorrow is the day she will receive her precious seed and start to grow one for herself

"Quickly Ecila, the rain is coming!!!" "Okay Mom." - She answers her mother and quickly runs inside the house. She gets inside and is completely dry. She goes back to her room and opens the [[letter->Dry letter]].

After changing her clothes, she lies on her bed and thinks: "I can check the letter tomorrow. This weather is better for sleeping." ... The next morning, she goes to check on her garden as usual. "Oh, I should check the letter I saw yesterday." - She walk towards the mailbox But badly, the letter is all soaked. Somehow the mailbox have some leaks and the rain was too heavy, it makes the letter soak into a pool of water. All the text is now blurry and Ecila can not read a single word. "I hope it's not an important letter. If it is important and something bad happens in the [[future -> Fine Ending 1]]... Nahhh it can not be that bad though." - Ecila tries her best to convince herself. "I should get back to work and head home early, my favorite comic book has been released, I can't wait anymore to read it." - Ecila says with a happy voice and completely forget about the letter.

"Long time ago, the West forest used to look like the East forest, full of trees and animals. But..." - Alice stopped her sentence and sigh heavily. "...In recent years, I don't know the reason why lots of Seelies in the West forest started to stop growing their tree. Maybe they think if the forest missing one tree it's fine..." - Ecila suddenly feels her heart drops a little bit, this sentence, she used to say before. Alice continues: "I mean if just one tree then they are right, it makes no effect. But they never think that others will act like them. If ten Seelies don't grow trees then we miss ten trees, one hundred Seelies is one hundred trees, and so on... And since we don't have anyone to tell them or show the consequences so the effect continuing spread throughout the whole forest, and its result... You can see it now right..." Alice and Ecila stay silent. "We have been missing thousands of new trees every single year. The missing tree first of all decreases the place to live for animals so you can see that there are not many animals still around. The tree can help to cool down the atmosphere but since we don't have much left the weather is getting hotter every year. But that's not the worst thing, the tree also helps to hold the water inside the soil and prevent water and wind to blow it away, helping to preserve the soil. But without the tree, the soil store less water in it, leading to drought with some effect on other trees that already exist. Also, erosion, which is the situation I mentioned in the letter that I've been busy with, happened since there's no tree left to prevent the water and wind erode the soil. The thing is, when the previous Seelies don't grow the tree, they never think of these consequences and how they affect other Seelies' life. And even when the consequences are right here, in front of our eyes, lots of Seelies still don't think it's serious since the act of not growing trees has been normalized in this area." But then she felt the water falling on her head. "Woah I'm still outside, don't be like that." Water started to drop from the sky, and it begin to be heavier and heavier. Ecila quickly runs into her house while holding tight the letter and trying her best not to let it get wet. ... Ecila gets inside her house and gets a little bit wet. She sat down on her bed: "Let's take a look at the letter". She opens the [[letter->Wet letter 2]] and reads it.
